As we transition into Fall (which by the way is my favourite fashion season), I thought I’d welcome the new season by wearing my earthy tone peplum top with one of my favourite pair of pants that I own…camo! I’ll be honest, a part of me was a tad worried that I wouldn’t be able to fit into these bad boys in time for Fall. Hence, I was pleasantly surprised when I realized all my clothes and most importantly, my pants, still fit shortly after giving birth. Phew! It would seriously be a travesty to me if I could no longer fit into my manolos or favourite jeans. 😉 Then again, this is why I am glad I have a daughter to inherit my closet. lol. Thanks for stopping by! xoxo
Oh my goodness, I can’t believe it’s week 36 already! I totally missed Week 35 as it has been two crazy weeks!! My brother came to visit from Toronto, my Mom celebrated her big bday bash early since my brother was in town and I’m not due just yet, and just a lot of other awesome get together with friends and out of town guests. I even had a couple of belated bday dinners with some of my girlfriends too as I was so busy on my actual bday week. I think I’m starting to get a taste of the life of a busy mom, although I’m sure I’ve hardly scratched the surface of that. 😉 lol.
How far along? 36 Weeks (I’m actually 37 weeks now as I’ve been doing these updates a week in advance) I’m officially full term!
Baby is the size of a: Honeydew!
Total weight gain: 23 lbs
Baby is a: Girl!
Stretch marks? I think I saw two little faint lines underneath my belly. Not surprised…I’m totally stretched to the max right now. lol.
Sleep: Those crazy dreams have made a reappearance. I’m also sleep talking a lot (as my husband told me)
Best moment this week: We finally went to our prenatal class that we booked months back. It was definitely very informative and I have to say I really enjoyed the massage techniques my hubby learned to ease my somewhat achy back. 😉
Worst moment of the week: I had to cancel my massage appointment because my doctor said that it’s probably best to take it easy since the baby is still breech. I guess she doesn’t want me to risk going into early labour prior to my caesarian date. I was so looking forward to that massage…oh well, gotta do whats best for the bay bay!!
Have you told family and friends: Yes!
Miss Anything? Being able to wake up in the morning and not feel like I have a ton of pain down on my girly parts…lets just say everything is starting to feel heavier and more uncomfortable.
Movement: Yup! I enjoy balancing items on my belly and watching her kick it off. She seems to know when I have something on top of her. haha.
Food Cravings: My blood work came back and apparently I’m on the cusp of being a little low in iron. Hence, I’ve been loading up on spinach salad, eggs and cherries this week. I even had a little bit of beet salad the other day with my brother as he said its good for me. Ugh! I hate beets!!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope.
Have you started to show yet? Totally! Random strangers ask me when I’m due. =)
Belly Button in or out? Still looks like a weirdly shaped cinnamon bun but I’m officially calling it an outie.
Wedding rings on or off? On. I keep forgetting to put it away for now. I’m just glad my fingers haven’t swelled up yet. I think wedding rings will officially be off next week though.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!!
Looking forward to: Buying the last minute items (*cough* I’ve avoided the breast pump until now…) and getting a hospital bag ready to go in case my water breaks at any time!
