Happy Monday!  Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  Mine consisted of cleaning up the place, taking our parents out for dinner and finally putting our Christmas tree up.  Yes, I say finally because I usually have it up by November 1st.  My friends call me crazy but I get into Christmas mode even before Halloween.  Its just one of those holidays I absolutely love.  After all our hard work, the hubs and I decided we deserved a long overdue date night.  I got dressed up (understatement of the year) and went out for a lovely dinner.  My look consists of a vintage lace dress topped off with a velvety cropped tuxedo blazer and finished off with bejeweled satin ruby heels.  Cheers to a great week ahead! xo

Leather sleeves

I love Fall!  Its the perfect season to throw on a trench coat and a scarf and run out the door while still looking pretty well put together. 😉  I’m currently obsessed with my leather sleeve trench that I bought in London over the summer.  I love the quilted leather detailing on the sleeves and was instantly sold when I tried it on the first time.  Its such a subtle yet trendy update to the typical trench coat.  Are you loving the leather sleeve trend?  I read each and everyone of your comments and would love to see how you are sporting this trend too! =)

I am finally doing my seasonal closet switch – welcoming back all my blazers, boots and sweaters while having a hard time letting go of my summer dresses, sandals and shorts.  This outfit is one of my many transitional pieces from Summer to Fall.  Black leather bag, black studded pumps and jeans say Fall but the yellow tank shows that I’m still holding onto that little bit of sunshine left of the Summer.
